Why does my Telect power panel have 2 sets of grounding studs?

Information

Answer
Many of Telect's power panels will have two sets of grounding lugs on the panel, but it does not mean that both stud locations have to be used to properly ground the panel.  The two sets of grounding studs are tied to the same ground on the panel, and are included to offer different chassis grounding locations.  Only one set of studs is required to properly ground the power panel.  By offering multiple grounding locations on the panel, Telect is allowing customers to ground their panel from either side of the rack without having to route the grounding cable across the input or output terminals.
