What does RVA or RA mean on Telect Power Panel Alarm Pins?

« Go Back

Information

Answer
Telect Power Panels include Alarm pins, which can be labeled differently depending on the panel.

On our panels that include RVA, Fuse Fail and Power fail alarms are rolled into one on the back pins. These letters stand for standard remote (R), visual (V), and audible (A) failure alarms. These relays can be used to turn on lights, and sound alarms when either power feed to the GMT panel fails and/or any fuse blows.

On our other panels that only include RA, this stands for Refence (R) and Activate (A). These are used to bring in alarms from elsewhere and activate the light on the front of the panel.
