The Major and Minor alarms on some of Telect's power panels are pass through alarms that are generated by external equipment or devices, they are not generated by an alarm or status condition on the Telect panel. 

If you would like to use the alarms, connect remote audio/visual bay alarm indicator wires to the MAJ (major) and MIN (minor) alarm pins. Also, you will need to install switch closure wires to the A (activate) and R (reference) pins, as shown in the illustration below, to activate the alarm relay.  The MAJ (major) and MIN (minor) alarm pins can only be activated with a closure contact trigger.
