Does Telect offer a VDSL terminal block?

« Go Back

Answer

Telect’s connectorized HS+ terminal blocks have only been tested for ADSL2+ speeds, so we are unable to guarantee them for VDSL or VDSL2 speeds at this time.  Telect's terminal blocks should be able to support VDSL and VDSL2 rates if installed with the proper gauged wiring on both sides and the proper twist rate for the copper pairs.  For example VDSL can use a 24 gauge wire.  The only limitation from Telect's product would be if the terminal pins couldn't support the high speed signal rate.  While unlikely to be an issue, Telect's HS+ terminal blocks have never been tested for VDSL applications so we cannot guarantee it.
