Add the flexibility of DSX to traditional E1 digital distribution frame applications with SuperMIX. This modular DSX system provides a multiple interface point for testing, patching, monitor- ing, and cross-connecting E1 circuits. A configurable backplane accommodates the termination of E1 switch and MUX equipment through a variety of 75- or 120-ohm impedance connectors.


SuperMIX converts E1 cabling media from 75-ohm characteris- tics to 120-ohm for twisted-pair wire-wrap cross connection on the front of the modules. Individual modules snap into the Su- perMIX chassis for instant power connection. The result is vastly improved cable management, distribution frame space savings, installer cost savings, and DSX capabilities (patch, test, monitor, cross-connect) for E1 systems.
